Made from clay-based materials, and fired in kilns at very high temperatures, porcelain is very hard, durable and non-porous resulting in a strong hardwearing surface for your outdoor space.
Due to its low absorption of moisture, porcelain is an ideal surface for patios, terraces and eating areas. Splashes of fat from the BBQ, wine spills and food will not soak into the porcelain meaning it is easy to clean and maintain.
Porcelain tiles maintain their initial qualities, both technically and aesthetically over time, and will not fade in summer sun, so if you buy “black” it will still be black in ten years’ time.
