Riverside Garden, Shepperton

This property has a wonderful frontage onto the River Thames at Shepperton, following an extensive house renovation it was time to address the garden.

With access by river only the logistics of this project were more involved than normal, all materials and plant hire being brought to the site by river barge and craned in!

The garden is designed to give flow around the house and generous areas from which to enjoy the river views.  A large composite deck radiating out from the house, enclosed with stainless steel and glass balustrades provides the main entertaining space, separated from the neighbouring property with a slate clad wall.

A bespoke staircase provides access from the deck to the jetty providing an easy journey down to enjoy the boat and the river.

Leading from the deck, through sumptuous planting is a path laid with black limestone setts, terminating with a beautiful grey sandstone terrace and pergola.

Now, the view from the river is as delightful as the river is from the home!
