Langley Avenue, Surbiton

Our brief was to create a garden in this wonderfully sized area that would provide for a family whose needs included wheelchair access to all areas, enjoyment and sensory stimulation for a young son with learning and physical difficulties.

Meandering paths through generous lawns and planting give access and stimulation with different sights, smells, sounds and touch.  A gazebo gives shade and destination for the family to enjoy outdoor entertaining and eating.

Raised sleeper beds provide planting at height, easy to interact with from a wheelchair and adding feature to the garden.

A sunken trampoline provides safe play at lawn level and something for the whole family to enjoy!

A wonderful project to design and implement.
