Kota Blue Limestone

Kota Blue Limestone

Kota Blue Limestone terraces joined with a circular block paved path.  A raised bed made from sleepers set vertically into the ground continues the curved/circular theme.

As a result the garden feels so much bigger with its defined areas and is now provides a more welcoming space that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Kota Blue Limestone Paving

Kota Blue Limestone Paving is an important feature of this garden. Kota Blue is an attractive and very durable natural stone paving. It has a soft appearance and a noticeable feature is its variable, soft riven finish compared to regular sandstone.

Its handsome blue colour has a steel effect with subtle shades of greys and green, sometimes with white coral flecks and looks like a much more expensive paving.

Kota Blue Limestone provides great value for money, especially for larger spaces and its even texture and colour will complement classic and contemporary gardens alike.

Other features of Kota Blue Limestone that make it attractive as a garden paving are its very uniform appearance, its relative, but not slippery smoothness with an orange peel texture look to its surface. This texture is very tactile and provides a desirable light anti-skid effect.

Kota Stone originates from a place called Kota in the state of Rajasthan in Northern India. The mines are located near the city of Ramganj Mandi known as ‘stone city’ and ‘coriander city’. Around 6500 tons of coriander seeds arrive there on a single day during the season.
