Palace Road, East Molesey
A very overgrown garden with mature planting dominating and reducing the space. Little structure or feature and a lawn ruined by very energetic dogs using the area as a race track!
By removing the very large and mature planting the beauty of the boundary walls can be appreciated and used as a fabulous backdrop to new, more structured planting.
The structure and interest brought in to the garden with a 45° design gives width and punctuates the visual journey through to the end.
Planting beds edged with sandstone strips maintain the bed shape, reinforcing the design and providing a very practical mowing edge.
The lawn challenge with the dogs was solved with the installation of a mesh for the new lawn to grow through, reinforcing and protecting the new lawn.
